Terms and Conditions of Kareepan Safaris
For the purposes herein, “Client” refers to any individual(s) purchasing or participating in a hunting or adventure safari with Kareepan Safaris. It is essential that the Client thoroughly reviews and acknowledges the following Terms and Conditions, as well as all accompanying documentation provided by Kareepan Safaris. The submission of a non-refundable deposit or any partial payment thereof signifies the Client’s acceptance of the Terms and Conditions set forth below.
Rights Reserved Kareepan Safaris retains the right to cancel a hunting safari prior to departure from the point of origin, in which case the Client will receive a full refund of all monies paid to the company. Additionally, Kareepan Safaris reserves the right to terminate a safari after commencement if circumstances necessitate such action, including but not limited to the Client’s misconduct or failure to comply with the outlined Terms and Conditions, which may pose a risk to themselves or others. The company is not liable for any violations of national or game laws by its Clients and reserves the right to deny permission to shoot an animal for any reason.
Liability Kareepan Safaris shall not be held liable for any misrepresentation of its services or costs by Agents, nor for its inability to fulfill obligations or carry out related activities due to events beyond its reasonable control, such as acts of God, military actions, or government restrictions. The company assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries, illnesses, death, or loss or damage to property that may occur during the safari.
Liability of Agents Agents act as intermediaries between the Client and Kareepan Safaris and are not liable for loss or damage to property, death, injury, or mechanical failures occurring during the safari. Any guarantees or promises made by Agents are their sole responsibility.
Reservation and Payments Safari reservation dates are confirmed upon receipt of the full deposit, which constitutes 50% of the daily rates. Kareepan Safaris reserves the right to accept or reject proposed reservation dates. The non-refundable deposit is applied toward the total cost of the safari. The remaining 50% of daily rates must be paid no later than 90 days prior to the safari’s start date. Prior to departure, the Client is required to settle all outstanding fees for trophy hunting and any additional expenses incurred (excluding those defined as included by the company). Kareepan Safaris accepts payment via bank transfer or cash received before the Client’s departure. Personal checks, traveler’s checks, and certified bank checks are not accepted forms of payment. Wounded game that remains unrecovered is considered as having been hunted and is subject to payment of the listed trophy fee. A government tax of 15% is applicable and payable by the Client for wounded game not recovered and trophies or animals not exported from Namibia. The opportunity to hunt another specimen is contingent upon approval by the Professional Hunter. All prices are quoted in United States Dollars & Euro (depends on country of origin) and are subject to change without prior notice.
Cancellation and Refunds All cancellations must be submitted to Kareepan Safaris in writing. Refunds, if applicable due to cancellation, will be issued only for amounts exceeding the non-refundable deposit, provided the cancellation is made before the 90-day deadline preceding the safari’s commencement. No refunds will be granted after this deadline. If circumstances beyond the control of Kareepan Safaris affect the scheduling of the safari, every effort will be made to accommodate the Client, but no refund will be provided if the safari cannot include the number of hunting days originally purchased. The safari may be rescheduled only with written consent from Kareepan Safaris, which reserves the right to set a specific timeframe for completion.
Air Travel The Client is solely responsible for making all air travel arrangements, and Kareepan Safaris bears no liability for losses or costs incurred due to delays in airline reservations, airline issues, adverse weather conditions, or unforeseen travel events. Obtaining any necessary visas is the sole responsibility of the Client, as visa requirements vary by country.
Insurance Kareepan Safaris strongly recommends that Clients obtain personal trip cancellation insurance, as well as medical, travel accident, and baggage insurance. Any insurance providing financial protection against potential losses must be procured independently by the Client. Kareepan Safaris does not offer trip cancellation or any other form of insurance on behalf of its Clients.
Taxidermy Upon delivery of the Client’s trophies to the designated third party, taxidermist, or shipping agent, Kareepan Safaris assumes no further responsibility for their safety or condition. The company will assist Clients in addressing any complaints related to the taxidermy process.
Governing Laws Disputes between the Client or Agents and Kareepan Safaris are subject to and shall be governed by the laws of the country, state, province, or locality in which the safari takes place.
